Turn Any Miso Soup Packet Into a Seafood Egg Drop Soup
Miso soup packets are so yesterday. 15 Calories?! What if I want to eat over 100 calories today?
To make this soup, we used several miso soup packets with miniature tofu cubes and added more. Eggs dropped into the boiling soup, shredded carrots, green onion shavings, broiled mushrooms, red onion shavings, and prepared Royal Asia Chilean sea bass dumplings purchased from Whole Foods.
The soup is, as Austin Powers might say, a smashing success. Yeah, baby!
My soup is going to have a bit of drizzle from the sauce that came with the sea bass dumplings; some other folks are adding chopped broiled pork to theirs.
